NIT MCA Common Entrance Test NIMCET 2017 is a national level entrance exam conducted by National Institutes of Technology, Durgapur for admissions in MCA programme offered by all NITs of the country.

NIMCET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have scored minimum 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA (for general candidates) and 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA (for SC, ST candidates) on a 10 point scales in the qualifying examination.

Candidates should hold a degree of minimum three years (B.Sc /B.Sc (Hons)/BCA/BIT) or BE / B.Tech or equivalent exam from a recognized university.

Candidates appearing in qualifying exam are also eligible to apply but they have to submit the proof of appearing at the time of counselling/admission.

Aspirants who have passed their degree from open universities are also eligible to apply.
