Re: Federal Bank India Routing Number

Federal Bank customers can send money from any part of the world through SWIFT. It is the most popular mode of money transfer in the world.

To facilitate remittance through SWIFT, Federal bank has correspondent banking relationship with all major banks in the world.

Yeah Routing Number is required for SWIFT Transfer to India

SWIFT or Wire Transfer is one of the convenient ways of remitting funds to India from abroad.

The remitter needs to submit the ‘international money transfer application' for making a remittance from a foreign country to India.

In the ‘International Money Transfer Application', the remitter should provide the details of:

Intermediary Bank
Intermediary Bank's SWIFT Code
Federal Bank's A/c Number
Routing Number
Federal Bank's SWIFT Code etc.

The remitter may pick up the details provided in the appropriate table and use the details for filling out the international money transfer application form.

Do not submit the ‘domestic money transfer application'.

This is because certain details (e.g. Federal Bank's correspondent), which are required for processing an international money transfer, will not be available in the ‘domestic money transfer application'.
