First Indian to Pass IAS Exam
Who is the first the person in India who passed the Indian Administrative Service (IAS ) entrance exam ? Provide the Indian Administrative Service entrance exam eligibility criteria and the exam pattern. Also provide the IAS entrance exam dates . Indian Administrative Service (IAS) is the Civil Services Examination or a competitive exam in India conducted by Union Public Service Commission for the recruitment to various Civil Services of the Government of India. Satyendranath was selected for the Indian Civil Service in June, 1863. He completed his probationary training and returned to India in November 1864.
