The Inner South Mental Health Service offers specialist emergency mental health services, acute inpatient care and ambulatory services for people living in the south of Adelaide. Services are based at Flinders Medical Centre as well as off site: Flinders Mental Centre: Margaret Tobin Centre Ward 4GP Consultation Liaison Psychiatry (CLP) Short Stay Assessment Suite Centre for Anxiety Related Disorders (CARD) Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Statewide Gambling Services Off site: Integrated Community Mental Health teams State-wide Eating Disorder Service Flinders Medical Centre is a centre of intellectual activity and hosts academics from overseas. Co-location of the hospital with the Flinders University has encouraged a pioneering approach to teaching. Flinders Medical Centre works in joint venture with the Flinders University School of Nursing and Midwifery.
