MBA in Media and Entertainment Program as offered by Centre for Media, Entertainment and Communication, Ganpat University is designed to provide management education to graduates with the orientation towards the Entertainment and Media Industry.

It prepares the students who can not only understand the functions of Media Management but also effectively manage all the functions in such a way that helps in fulfillment of overall organization objective.

Selection Process for Admission

The selection process has been divided in two cycles.

The process for 1st Cycle:

Based on the marks scored in the latest exam of CMAT/CAT/MAT/ XAT and PI, merit list is prepared.

1. The weightage for preparing the merit list will be as under:
Entrance Test (ET) 60%
Personal Interview (PI) 40%

2. If equal score resulting into tie for admission, Chairman-Admission Committee shall decide objectively his decision shall be final and binding.

3. The right to decide the cut off marks in the exam of CMAT/CAT/MAT/ XAT is with the admission committee. If one has not scored the minimum marks as fixed by the admission committee, then has to appear in the Entrance Test conducted by the Ganpat University in second cycle.

The seats falling vacant post 1st Cycle is only filled in through 2nd cycle process as under.

The process for 2nd Cycle:

The selection process consists of an Entrance Test followed by Personal Interview (PI). Based on the marks scored in the Entrance Test and PI, merit list will be prepared.

1. The weightage for preparing the merit list will be as under:
Entrance Test (ET) 60%
Personal Interview (PI) 40%

2. One who has appeared in the latest exam of CMAT/CAT/MAT/ XAT get exemption from the Entrance test.

3. PI is conducted for all the applicants who have taken the Entrance Test.

4. In the event of equal score resulting into tie for admission, Chairman-Admission Committee decide objectively and decision is final and binding
