GCET is a common Entrance Exam conducted for providing admissions in the Engineering and Medical Colleges of Goa. GCET is done by Directorate of Technical Education, Goa State. The GCET is conducted for the students who have completed their Secondary School at State level. Goa CET is a Common Exam for both the MPC & BiPC Students. GCET Exam Pattern: Each paper shall consist of 75 (Seventy Five) questions. Each question will be of one mark. Duration of the exam is two hours. There is no negative marking. The written exam paper of GCET is questions based on 12th class or Higher Secondary syllabus. The questions totally based on following subjects Physics Mathematics Chemistry and Biology GCET shall be conducted in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology, based on Std. XIIth syllabus prescribed in these subjects by Goa Board, Goa CET Syllabus Physics: Electrostatics. Current Electricity. Magnetic effects of current and Magnetism. Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents. Electromagnetic Waves. Optics. Dual nature of matter and Radiation. Atoms and Nuclei. Electronic Devices. Communication Systems.
