All Tisch graduate applicants must submit the General Tisch Graduate Application in order to be considered for admission.

General application requirements

The following materials must be uploaded or submitted with the general application:

Copies of academic transcripts from any schools in which you received a college degree or attended for two or more years

Two letters of recommendation from academic, artistic or professional references (three letters are required for the Dramatic Writing, Cinema Studies and Performance Studies programs)

Professional or artistic resume

Personal statement

In addition, applicants to the Arts Politics, Cinema Studies must also submit an academic writing sample with their application.

Applicants to the PhD in Cinema Studies program must also submit GRE scores in order to be eligible for admission.

It is not required for any other graduate program at Tisch.

Application fee

There is a $65 application fee paid at the end of the general application.

The fee can be paid by credit card or e-check.

Note - The fee for the MFA Graduate Acting program is $100, which covers the application and audition fees.
