The official notice of the RBI Grade B Officer Exam has been as of now as on 19th November 2016. According to the notification, there has been no change in the Phase 1 examination however there has been marginally changes done in Phase II exam. Check the Pattern of RBI Grade B Officer Exam – 1. Phase-I Online Examination: Objective Type – The Paper for 200 Marks consists of 4 sections: (i) General Awareness (ii) English Language (iii) Quantitative Aptitude and (iv) Reasoning, with composite time of 120 minutes. 2. Phase-II Online Examination: Descriptive Test – Phase-II examinations will consist of three papers in MCQ pattern (except Paper-I) 3. Interview: 50 marks: The interview will continue in its existing format. A Detailed Syllabus of RBI Grade B Exam I. General Awareness (Total 80 Qs) Easy to Moderate It is one of the scoring section of the exam. Total 80 questions will be asked from this section. The questions can be asked from different topics which are mentioned below- (i) Banking & Financial + Economic News– Banking Terminology, Recent RBI News like – Monetary policies, Important guidelines, Financial & Economics News, Economics terms, etc. (ii) Current Affairs – National + International News, Sports News, Awards, Summits & Conferences, Schemes, Agreement & Deals, etc. (iii) Static GK – Parks, Dam, Thermal Power Plants, Mountains, Temples, Stadiums, Airports, etc. II. English Language (Total 30 Qs) Moderate The level of this section will be moderate. The questions in this section can be asked from different topics which are mentioned below- (i) Reading Comprehension – 10 Questions (Lengthy) will based on Economy (ii) Cloze Test – 10 Questions (Moderate) (iii) Parajumbles (7 statements)– 5 Questions (Moderate) (iv) Spotting Error – 5 Questions (Moderate) |
