I have applied for admission in IIT Kanpur for pursuing my M.Sc biotechnology course heard about the GH tower of IITK. Can you please tell me why there is need of building this GH tower by IITK and also tell me what the purpose and use of this IITK GH tower?

IITK Gh-1 provides a supporting environment to let flourish budding hopes of country.

Facilities:

There are 350 rooms and 7 blocks (A,B,C,D,E,F & G) in GH-1.Some rooms are single-seater and some are double-seater. All rooms are well equipped.

They have mess available. Apart from this We have facilities of computer centre, book club, reading room, hobby room, canteen, general store, fruit shop, gymnasium, beauty parlor and television room.
