The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board was founded in 1.11.1989 under the provisions of Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Act 1989 (Act No . 15 of 1989 ),



HMWSSB has announced increased tariff rates, doubling them for commercial, industrial & industrial water-based consumers with immediate effect.

In the commercial category, for water usage between 0 and 200 kilolitres (kl), the revised rate is up to Rs. 100/kl in various slabs in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits and Rs. 180/ kl outside GHMC limits.
