BPCL has been positioned 280th in the Fortune Global 500 rankings of the world's greatest companies for the year 2015.

Bharat Petroleum works the accompanying refineries:

Mumbai Refinery: Located close Mumbai, Maharashtra. It has a limit of 12 million metric tons for each year.

Kochi Refineries: Located close Kochi, Kerala. It has a limit of 9.5 million metric tons for each year.

Bina Refinery: Located close Bina, Sagar locale, Madhya Pradesh. It has a limit of 6 million metric tons for each year. This refinery is worked by Bharat Oman Refineries Limited, a joint endeavor between Bharat Petroleum and Oman Oil Company.

Numaligarh Refinery: Located close Numaligarh, Golaghat region, Assam. It has a limit of 3 million metric tons for every year.
