IMU Common Entrance Test CET is an All-India Online Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Indian Maritime University for admission to UG and PG programmes

IMU CET Eligibility Criteria

10+2/equivalent (PCM-60% & English-50%)

In case of SC/ST, candidates there will be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks; however, it will not apply to English marks

Age Limit for IMU CET 2017

i) Minimum age 17 years
ii) Maximum age 25 Years

For Scheduled Castes (SC) & Schedule Tribe candidates (ST) Candidates maximum age relaxation is for five (5) years

Physical Fitness

Candidates who are applying for all these courses needs to comply with medical standards of D.G. Shipping and they have to go through a medical exam

Eye Sight

There should not be any degree of squint or any morbid condition of eyes or of the eyelids that is liable to aggravate or recur, pressure of trachoma and iris complication sequel

Distance vision (unaided 0.5 (6/12) in each eye or 0.67 (6/9) in better eye and 0.33 (6/18) in other eye.

Normal colour vision shall be tested by Ishihara test chart.
