Graduation from USA or Any Foreign Country and after CAT Eligilbity
Can you tell me if a student who has done Graduation from USA or Any Foreign Country apply for CAT (Common Admission Test) in India?

CAT exam follow strict qualification criteria as it is one of the most sought after exams for admission to MBA programs in Business Schools in India. All permanent residents of India are eligible to appear for the test. In addition to it, foreign nationals who fulfill the needed eligibly criterion can apply for the Common Admission Test. Eligibility for the Foreign Nationals/NRI/PIO for CAT Foreign Nationals, PIO’s or NRI’s must have a Bachelor degree with at least 50% (candidates of the SC/ST, PWD categories have 45%). The certification must be from a University that is accredited by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. Candidates who are in final year also qualified to appear for the CAT exam. Those who have finished their studies and are expecting their results can submit an application for the exam too. Basic eligibility for CAT The qualification criterion that is needed for a student to apply for the Common Admission Test is a graduate degree from an approved college. The students can be from any stream, but they are required to have a score of minimum 50% in their final exams. Students of the Sc/St/PH and OBC communities require only 45% marks. Those who are writing their final year exam are qualified to appear for the exam too. Qualifying Examinations for CAT Candidates who have cleared the qualifying exam by means of any of these methods can apply for the CAT exam. Aspirants who have done their graduation from any university accepted by the Association of Indian Universities or the All India Council for Technical Education can apply for the CAT exam. |
