GRE Juniper Ex

Hi I would like to have the information about using the Juniper EX Switch GRE Tunnels for establishing a GRE tunnel between two sites?

As of late had a need to build up a GRE burrow between two destinations. The reason being was conveying a Meru Wifi verification of-idea where AP's were on one site, and the controller on a remote site.

Ordinarily, the availability between AP's the controller would go over the current steered system (layer 3 mode in Meru-talk), yet for this situation, it wasn't conceivable to get the new subnet doled out to the controller overhauled with the ISP giving the private connections.

As the client was utilizing Juniper EX switches and had a Juniper SRX firewall at the remote (controller) site, GRE permitted us to manufacture the system without the need to include the ISP.

Each GRE interface has a passage source and destination set (this is the steered interface of the gadget at every end) and an inet address relegated to the interface which is utilized to set up the passage (10.11.12.1 and 10.11.12.2 for my situation). I've utilized unit "1" on my SRX, as I as of now have some GRE burrows worked to different destinations. A GRE interface utilizes the same unit task as a switch or inet port in JunOS, they can be utilized for various association purposes.
