IIT Joint Entrance Examination Seven zonal Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are conducting JEE Advanced 2016 / IIT JEE 2016 under the guidance of Joint Admission Board. JEE Advanced 2016 Eligibility Age limit: Candidate must be born on or after October 1, 1991. Age relaxation of five years is applicable for SC, ST, PwD candidates. Number of attempts: A candidate can attempt the IIT JEE for maximum two times, that too as consecutive year attempts. Candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in all the subjects in either 2015 or 2016. Candidates who appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination in 2015 and wish to re-appear in the same in 2016 (either for improvement or because they failed in one or more subjects), will have to re-appear in all the subjects in 2016. Reservation in IITs Category Reservation SC 15% ST 7.5% OBC-NCL 27% PwD 3% horizontally Tips to Prepare for IIT-JEE : You have to Regularly Give Mock Tests in Topic Wise and cumulative formats. "Performance analysis of the Test is Must and Based on that the Weaknesses have to be taken care of immediately. Stick/hang a big calendar in your room. Write your schedule Plan time for study, revision, breaks and IIT JEE Online Mock Tests Make a weekly schedule for IIT JEE Exam Preparation. Your plan should have categories like deadlines for exam formalities and revision. Also, write your day-to-day tasks. Include your routine, trips and study time. You can take out special time for additional academic activities like watching IIT JEE Online Video Lectures, skimming through summary notes or reading exam preparation tips and tricks. |
