The Department of Biotechnology at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar was established by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.

All India Combined Entrance Test (AICET) conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and university test for admission to M.Sc. Bioinformatics programme.

Eligibility:
Candidates must have Bachelor’s degree under the 10+2+3 pattern of education in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering/Technology, 4-Years B.S. (Physician Assistant Course); OR Medicine (MBBS) OR B.D.S. with at least 55% marks.
