Hey the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India, an agency of Government of India for insurance sector supervision and development.

Well to improve service standards in the health insurance sector, IRDA issued guidelines standardizing 46 most commonly used definitions/terms/conditions in health insurance policies.

The guidelines also include definitions of eleven common critical illnesses covered under various health insurance policies in India.
