The award of an MBA in Zambia Institute for Capacity Building, Graduate School of Business of Heriot-Watt University requires one to complete 7 core and 2 elective courses and a specialist MBA requires one to complete 7 core and 4 elective courses from a designated list.

1. Admission Requirements - a first degree, professional qualification or through matriculation.
2. Enrolling on the Programme - One enrol as a student by purchasing one, two, three or more study courses.
3. Courses – One need to pass 9 courses to obtain an MBA degree. There are 7 compulsory courses and choose two from a number of elective courses
4. Examinations - Exams are held in Lusaka in March, June, August and December only each year at the British Council.
5. Exemptions - Depending upon what qualifications you hold, a maximum of two exemptions is given.
6. Fees - The standard fee per pack is £550 + Courier charge of £25 per order as well. A pack consists of the print-based study material plus eMBA.
The e MBA is based on the traditional text content augmented by a number of additional layers of materials:
 Interactive cases and questions which generate a profile of comprehension
 Interactive exercises which provide hands on experience of the more conceptual aspects of the programme

7. Other Fees - One pays £125 per course as examination fee - directly to the University. For the Exam fee there are also bank and courier charges (approx. K450, 000).
8. Specialisms - One can specialise in: Human Resource Management, Finance, Marketing and Strategic Planning
9. Awards - After 3 courses, 6 courses, 9 courses one qualify for a Post graduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma and an MBA respectively.

11. Specialist MBAs MBA with a Specialise in Finance, Human Resource Management, Strategic Planning and Marketing.

I recently completed my Level 6 Diploma in Business Management under ABE. I would like to know if I am eligible to enroll for a masters Degree in Business Administration

I was an MBA Heriot Watt student some years back but I could not complete the programme due to financial constraints. I did the old syllabus and had emained with only once course to graduate. I wish to complete the programme now that I feel I can pay for the remaing course. How can I be assisted to complete the programme?
