How To Calculate AP TET Weightage
I want to know how to calculate the weightage of Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test AP TET exam? AP DSE has made it clear that 20% weightage will be given for AP TETs. Candidates shall be selected on the basis of marks secured in the Written Test. For this 20% weightage, candidates will be having option either to consider 20% of earlier TET scores or 20% of present marks whichever is higher. TET DSC DSC Total Secured 20% Total Secured 20% Total Secured 20% marks Marks weightage marks Marks weightage marks Marks weightage A B C D E F G H I J K =(C/Bx20) (G/Fx20) (J/1x20) Ex1 150 120 16 Ex1 200 120 12 180 120 13.33 Ex2 150 110 14.67 Ex2 200 140 14 180 140 15.56 Ex3 150 100 13.33 Ex3 200 160 16 180 160 17.78 Example 1: Consider if a candidate has secured 120 marks out of 150 in earlier APTET. Then,20% weightage = 120/150 X 20 = 16 Now, if the same candidate secures 120 marks out of 200 in AP TET cum TRT SA exam, 20% weightage = 120/200 X 20 = 12 If the candidate writes SGT exam and scores 120 out of 180, 20% weightage = 120/180 X 20 = 13.33 The highest weightage of TET from two scores mentioned above will be considered while preparing the final list.
