All India Institute of Medical Sciences AIIMS Delhi is a medical college and medical research public university based in New Delhi, India. The Institute was established in 1956 It operates autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. AIIMS MBBS admissions- Eligibility Criteria: 12 Class under the 10+2 Scheme/ Senior School Certificate Examination (CSBE) or Intermediate Science (I.SC.) or an equivalent examination of a recognised University/ Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects candidates must have passed 10+2/HSC in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 60% marks while qualifying marks for SC/ST is 50% Candidates must have completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before December 31, 2015 Candidates born on or after January 2, 1999 are not eligible for AIIMS MBBS 2015 Important dates- AIIMS MBBS 2016 Application Form is available from 15 Feb 2016 Online registration for AIIMS MBBS 2016 closes on 15 Mar 2016 AIIMS MBBS 2016 Admit Card available for download from 06 May 2016 AIIMS MBBS 2016 Entrance Examination will be held on 29 May 2016 Result of AIIMS MBBS 2016 will be declared on (Expected) 14 Jun 2016 1st Counselling 04, 05, 07 & 08 Jul 2016 2nd Counselling 04 Aug 2016 3rd Counselling 06 Sep 2016 Open Counseling for AIIMS, Delhi 27 Sep 2016 Examination Pattern- The Competitive AIIMS Entrance Examination will have one paper consisting of 200 Objective Type (Multiple Choice and Reason-Assertion type) questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge. The distribution of questions is : Subject Number of Question Physics 60 Chemistry 60 Biology (Botany and Zoology) 60 General Knowledge 20 Total 200 Marking Scheme- Each incorrect response will get a score of -1/3 (minus-one-third). Each correct response will get a score of 1 mark. No credit will be given for the questions not answered. More than one response will be treated as wrong answer and negatively marked. The total duration of the exam is 3.5 hours. |
