All India Institute of Medical Sciences AIIMS Delhi is a medical college and medical research public university based in New Delhi, India. The Institute was established in 1956

It operates autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

AIIMS MBBS admissions-

Eligibility Criteria:

12 Class under the 10+2 Scheme/ Senior School Certificate Examination (CSBE) or Intermediate Science (I.SC.) or an equivalent examination of a recognised University/ Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects

candidates must have passed 10+2/HSC in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 60% marks while qualifying marks for SC/ST is 50%

Candidates must have completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before December 31, 2015

Candidates born on or after January 2, 1999 are not eligible for AIIMS MBBS 2015

Examination Pattern-

The Competitive AIIMS Entrance Examination will have one paper consisting of 200 Objective Type (Multiple Choice and Reason-Assertion type) questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge.

The distribution of questions is :

Marking Scheme-

Each incorrect response will get a score of -1/3 (minus-one-third).
Each correct response will get a score of 1 mark.
No credit will be given for the questions not answered.
More than one response will be treated as wrong answer and negatively marked.

The total duration of the exam is 3.5 hours.
