Examine the syllabus closely notified by the official authority and strategies the preparation accordingly. The weightage given to different topics should be kept in view while preparing for the exam.

It is important for the candidates to understand and allocate specific time to the topics and prepare accordingly.

Divide the topics into small parts and then study

It is important to check the performance, to do so solve previous year question papers

It is important for the students to understand that it is not one of the exams for which preparation can be done overnight.

Do not sit in long stretch to study, after 3-4 hours take a break for 15 to 20 minutes and do something to refresh the mind for example: take a small walk, play something preferably an outdoor game, listen to music etc. It increases the concentration level and grasping capacity.

There are a number of mock tests offered by various coaching institutes in online mode, students are advised to take these test and practice over and over again.

Wasting too much time on a certain topic can cause loss of marks in other sections.
