Re: How to prepare for JEE advanced in one year
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), is the entrance examination to the prestigious IITs. JEE advance is the secondary stage of IIT entrance exam. Candidates qualify in main exam can appear in this exam. Topics to be focussed for JEE Advanced: Physical Chemistry:- Remember the formulae and practise the questions. Focus: Thermodynamics. Inorganic Chemistry:- Do a little bit of reading from the start so you are in touch with it constantly. Focus: Analytical Chemistry Organic Chemistry:- It also demands constant and regular efforts. Focus: Reaction Mechanisms Mathematics:- Make a chart of all the formulae. Physics:- Remember the concepts and practise the questions. Focus:- Mechanics Tips for preparing for JEE Advance:- You must understand that there is no such thing as an important topic. All topics are important, questions can be set from any topic. You just have to do your best. Since you have time, don’t leave any topics unattended. While practising, highlight the questions which you find tricky and conceptual for future reference. After topic wise revision, you should start with test series, online or offline, quite early. Stay motivated: One year is a very long time so keep motivate to yourself Revision tactics- Make formulae sheets along with your preparation; you can also use Mind Maps. Keep marking tricky question, to look upon at the time of revision. Always solve questions in time constraints. It is not at all necessary to attempt questions in order, start with the easiest. You only have 1 year, focus on problem solving tactics rather than analysis of questions. If reverse approach is easy to do, then use it rather than following full solution procedure Have faith in yourself. |
