Re: How to Prepare For National Eligibility Test
As per your request here I am providing you information about that, how to prepare For National Eligibility Test as well as pattern. How to Prepare For National Eligibility Test; 1 The very first key to success in the NET is proper management of the resources. Applicants should choose good books under proper guidance. 2 Do not consider random topics irrelevant or unimportant since each and every topic in the syllabus essential. 3 Since the syllabus of the NET is really huge, Applicants need to be thorough with the syllabus and a systematic approach should be adopted in order to cover each and every topic. 4 The Applicants should also pay special attention to the undergraduate and postgraduate syllabus of that particular subject. 5 One of the most important things to do is to learn about the latest pattern of the NET question paper. There are three papers; two of 100 marks each and one of 150 marks. 6 Paper I tests the teaching aptitude of the Applicants for which they can practice from the last year question papers. 7 Paper II and Paper III test the subject knowledge of the Applicants for which the prescribed syllabus needs to be covered and revised well. 8 It is advisable to appear for as many mock tests as possible because this will give Applicants a good idea of the exam pattern and let you know where exactly you stand. 9 The syllabus is vast and the paper seems to be lengthy so one should not waste much time on one question if not sure of the answer and move on to the other. 10 A little trick can be used. Applicants should not prepare many answers for just one topic rather prepare introductions for many topics and if Candidates have studied well you can play with the technique. Paper Marks Number of questions Time Paper I 100 60, out of which 50 have to be answered 1.15 hrs Paper II 100 50 questions. All are compulsory 1.15 hrs Paper III 150 75 questions. All are compulsory 2.30 hrs Paper I Paper I will assess the Applicants reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness. There will be 60 questions, each of two marks. The candidates have to answer 50 questions only. Paper - II This test will be based on the subject chosen by the candidate. There will 50 questions of two marks each. All the questions are compulsory. Paper - III This will consist of 150 marks and will have questions from the subject the Applicants has chosen. There will 75 objective-type questions of two marks each. |
