National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) system is a nation wide funds transfer system to facilitate transfer of funds from any bank branch to any other bank branch.
The system uses the concept of centralized accounting system and the bank's account that is sending or receiving the funds transfer instructions, gets operated at one centre, viz, Mumbai only.
The individual branches participating in NEFT could be located anywhere across the country

Eligibility Criteria For Customer Transactions

Fund Transfer through NEFT can be availed by the customers who maintain their operative accounts
Outward / Inward remittance facility under NEFT is offered
This facility is extended to Walk -in Customers.
This facility is available to Walk- in customers against cash payment upto Rs.50,000/-

For Outward Transactions-
Up to Rs.1 lakh -NIL
Above Rs.1 lakh to Rs.2 lakhs - Rs.10 (Plus Service Tax)per transaction.
Above Rs.2 lakhs - Rs.25 (Plus Service tax)per transaction
