It operates a network of more than 1,200 branches and outlets across more than 70 countries and employs around 87,000 people The Procedure to Write A Cheque To Standard Chartered Bank is given below For payments to Credit Card, Loan/Financing Accounts If you’re writing a cheque as payable to the Bank (SCBMB or SCSB) i.e. for payment to Credit Card, Personal Loan/Financing or Mortgage Account, please ensure that the complete Account Payee Name or Account Number is also written as part of the Payee Name. For all cheques, the payee’s Account Number must also be written on the reverse-side of the cheque, and must be the same as per the Account Number held in the Bank’s system or record. For Credit Card customers with multiple card account(s), kindly indicate your card account(s) number and the amount payable for each account. For payments to Deposit Account holders: For cheques deposited into Deposit or Loan/Financing Accounts, ensure the name of the payee is written clearly and correctly. Cheques crossed “Account Payee Only” must and can only be paid to the account of the named bene!ciary as per the Account Name held in SCBMB or SCSB records.
