Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) has released the recruitment of Engineers through GATE 2016.

Graduates Engineers in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication, Instrumentation and Chemical disciplines can apply on the basis of their GATE 2016 scores.

The Application process of the recruitment was held from December 31, 2015 till February 2, 2016.

Position: Engineers in the following disciplines:

Mechanical
Electronics &Telecommunication
Electrical
Civil
Instrumentation
Chemical

Eligibility:

The Qualifying degree must be 4 years full time from AICTE approved / UGC recognized University/Deemed University.

Candidates must have secured minimum 60% marks in qualifying degree examinations (50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates).

Candidates currently in final year of their engineering studies may also apply

Age Limit:

Not more than 25 years (relaxation as per norms).

Selection process:

On the basis of GATE 2016 score followed by Group discussion and Personal Interview.

Salary & Emoluments:

Selected candidates will be entitled for a consolidated Stipend of Rs 33,000/- per month during the training period

After completing their training, they will be absorbed at the entry level in the Management Cadre in “A” grade in the Salary Scale of Rs 24,900 - 50,500, subject to fulfilling the required performance related/ other criterion.

They will be further on Probation for a period of 6 months.

The Cost to Company will be Rs 11 lakhs per annum approximately (may vary from metro cities and other locations)
