Can you tell me if it is compulsory to clear HSC (Higher Secondary Course) to apply for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Medical (MH CET Medical)?

Yes, it is definitely compulsory to clear HSC (Higher Secondary Course) to apply for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Medical (MH CET Medical) as it is a basic requirement. Educational Qualifications • One must have passed the school/junior college from an institution situated in Maharashtra • One must have passed the SSC/Junior college/school with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects • One belonging to unreserved category must have obtained not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC Exam, whereas candidates belonging to reserved category and person with disability (PWD) have to obtain a minimum of 40% marks in HSC exam • One with disability (PWD) in General category have to obtain a minimum of 45% marks in the HSC exam MH CET Eligibility for MBBS and BDS Examination: • One belonging to open category (unreserved) must secure minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) taken together at Common Entrance Test i.e. MH CET • One belonging to constitutional reservation (reserved category) and with Person with Disability (PWD) must secure minimum 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry &Biology (PCB) taken together in the MH CET Medical • One with Disability in General category must secure minimum 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) taken together in the MH CET Medical MH CET Medical Exam Pattern: MH CET Medical is a pen and paper based test. It is conducted on the basis of Physics, Chemistry and Biology syllabus of Higher Secondary Examination. The Exam Pattern: • The test will conduct for a total of 200 Multiple Choice Questions • Time allotted for the test is 3 hours • Each answer will fetch candidates one mark • There shall be no negative marking • Candidates have to mark their answers in the OMR Sheet provided |
