Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) Clerk Exam is not having any interview phase; therefore, the final selection is done on the basis of marks obtained by one in Mains Exam. Therefore, it mandatory to score good in Mains to grab a good position in the Final merit list of IBPS Clerk Exam.


IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern for Prelims

The Preliminary exam has 3 sections.

The duration for the IBPS Clerk prelims exam is 1 hour. The three sections are timed separately. One will have to finish each of the sections within 20 minutes.

IBPS Clerk Negative Marking

In both prelims and mains, for every wrong answer one will lose one-fourth mark assigned to that question.
There is no negative marking for questions not attempted.
