Can you tell me if there is GD (Group Discussion) stage under the recruitment for Clerk Post in Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS)?

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) Clerk Exam is not having any interview phase; therefore, the final selection is done on the basis of marks obtained by one in Mains Exam. Therefore, it mandatory to score good in Mains to grab a good position in the Final merit list of IBPS Clerk Exam. IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern for Prelims The Preliminary exam has 3 sections. Sections No. of Questions/Maximum Marks English Language 30/30 Numerical Ability 35/35 Reasoning Ability 35/35 Total 100/100 The duration for the IBPS Clerk prelims exam is 1 hour. The three sections are timed separately. One will have to finish each of the sections within 20 minutes. IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern for Mains Examination Sections No. of Questions/ Maximum Marks General/Financial Awareness 50/50 General English 40/40 Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude 50/60 Quantitative Aptitude 50/50 Total 190/200 Each of these sections has been separately timed and candidates must finish off each of these sections within the allotted time. General/Financial Awareness: 35 minutes General English: 35 minutes Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude: 45 minutes Quantitative Aptitude: 45 minutes Total: 160 minutes IBPS Clerk Negative Marking In both prelims and mains, for every wrong answer one will lose one-fourth mark assigned to that question. There is no negative marking for questions not attempted. |
