Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) Clerk Selection Process is based on Online Objective type Test and Personal Interview. The duration for online exam is 2 hours and maximum marks are 200. It is basically scheduled in the month of December every year. The common written examination pattern details are given below within the pdf which you can download for no cost. Exam Pattern :- There will be forty questions from each topic given below and every will be of 1 marks. Reasoning Ability Numerical Ability General English General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry Computer Knowledge 1. Reasoning On this reasoning part there will be verbal & nonverbal reasoning questions. Generally, the type of questions that are asked in this part can be made us into decision making, analogy, blood relations, syllogism sitting arrangement, statement reasoning and series completion. 2. English Language English language proficiency is examined in the IBPS Clerk Written Exam under the following grounds: •Passage correction •Reading comprehension •Rearrangement •Error detection •Idioms & phrases •Active& passive voice 3. Numerical Ability You will not be questioned like as a graduate or postgraduate level in the numerical capability part. It will be asked to test for your general power. Therefore, getting your basics right up to standard 10th will be enough while planning for IBPS Clerk Written Exam. Most of the questions that are asked in this numerical ability part are like •Arithmetic part includes permutation & combination, numbers, percentage, probability, time and distance, logs, etc. •Data interpretation involving interpreting charts & tables. 4. General Awareness This part is conducted to test for general knowledge. The questions are related to banking knowledge & current events. The marks for current affairs are more than compared to banking. 5. Computer Knowledge In this part, the questions are mostly related to basics of hardware, software and Computer Knowledge. |
