IBPS PO attempt
My son was already two times appears in the IBPS PO but he does not crack this exam. So I am searching for the IBPS PO number of attempts. So can you please tell me how many attempts I can appear in the IBPS PO exam? Also tell me about its age limit?

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) was established in 1975, making it an institution. Now, IBPS recruitment exams, specifically, IBPS PO Exam, IBPS Clerk, SO, RRB for which Common Written Exams is a compulsory step to achieving a Government Job in the Regional Rural Banks and 20 Public Sector Banks. Education Qualification – One must have completed the Graduation Degree from any recognized university or institution. Nationality / Citizenship – Participants must have this citizenship which is given below. • Citizen of Indian • Citizen of Nepal • Citizen of Bhutan • A Tibetan refugee • Migrated Peoples from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. PO Number of Attempts The portrayal of the age-limit criteria also serves as the attempt limits. Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 30 years Relaxation of Upper Age Limit: 1. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe – 5 years 2. Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) – 3 years 3. Persons With Disabilities – 10 years 4. Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned Officers including Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs)/ Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs) who have rendered at least 5 years military service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within one year from the last date of receipt of application) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or physical disability attributable to military service or invalidment – 5 years 5. Persons ordinarily domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 – 5 years 6. Persons affected by 1984 riots – 5 years (i) The relaxation in upper age limit to SC/ST/OBC candidates is allowed on cumulative basis with only one of the remaining categories for which age relaxation is permitted as mentioned above in Point No. II (3) to II (6) (ii) The maximum age limit specified is applicable to General Category candidates. (iii) One seeking age relaxation will be required to submit necessary certificates in original/ copies at the time of Interview and at any subsequent stage of the recruitment process as required by IBPS/ Participating Organisations. |
