Union Bank of India Selection Procedure details:

Union Bank of India Clerical Cadre Selection Process is based on IBPS Score and Interview.

Selection Procedure:

1. IBPS Clerk Common Written Exam:

The Candidates who hold a valid score card issued by IBPS in the Common Written Exam for Clerical Cadre and have the score mentioned by Union Bank of India are simply eligible.

2. Interview:

Depending upon the number of vacancies in each State / Union Territory, Total prejudiced Standard Score (TWS Score) in the Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS and possess a valid score card issued by IBPS and rank satisfactorily high in the order of merit based on the Total Weighted Standard Score shall be called for a Personal Interview in the ratio of 1:3 for General / Unreserved Candidates and 1:5 in case of candidates belonging to the Reserved Categories.

3. Interview Marks:

The Personal Interview will be conducted for 50 marks and it is conducted to charge the candidates’ academic record, power of expression, clarity of thought, qualities of leadership, extra curricular activities, hobbies, general demeanor, behavior, communication skills, suitability for the post, etc.

The minimum qualifying marks for the Personal Interview would be 50% marks (45% marks for Reserved Category Candidates).

4. Final Selection: Candidates who have cleared Personal Interview will be considered for final selection.
