IBPS Specialist Officer
HI I would like to have the details of the specialist officer recruitment examination which has been published by IBPS? Institute of Banking Personnel Selection well known as IBPS conducts Common Written Examination (CWE) for the recruitment of Specialist Officers in several cadres like IT, Technical, Agriculture, Legal, Marketing, HR & Rashtrabhasha in 19 Public Sector Banks, twice in a year. Eligibility Criteria: Nationality/ Citizenship: A aspirant must be either - (i) a Citizen of India or (ii) a subject of Nepal or (iii) a subject of Bhutan or (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. Common Written Examination: Examination will comprise of Objective type questions printed in Bilingual format, apart from for English paper. Total Marks for Common Written Examination is 200 and the time duration is 2 hours. There will be negative marking of 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question for incorrect answer. Common Interview: Aspirants who have been short-listed in the examination for CRP SPL-IV will afterwards be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and co-ordinated by IBPS. The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The bare minimum score required in interview will not be less than 40 percent and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD aspirants.
