Yes, Final Allotment will be the last step of IBPS SO (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Specialist Officer) Selection Procedure.

IBPS SO Selection Procedure – Steps Involved:

STEP 1 – Online Registration:

• One has to register the candidature by completing one time registration.
• Once one has registered, one will receive provisional login details.
• One has to use the provided login details and fill the Online IBPS SO Application Form.
• Provide all the details as asked in the application form
• Upload the scanned images of photo and signature in the application form. One has to ensure not to make mistake in uploading of the photograph and signature and upload each in the designated space.
• Lastly, one has to make the online payment of the application fees. The payment of application fees can be furnished via online mode only.

STEP 2 – Online Examination
• One who fill the application form without any mistake will be issued the admit card for the written exam.
• Merely appearing in the written exam is not enough; one has to qualify the exam by obtaining the required marks as per the IBPS SO Cut off standards.
• As per Selection Procedure, cut off marks for all categories will be different and one has to secure more marks than the cut off as per the category to be eligible to be called for interview.
• The written exam is for 200 marks.

STEP 3 – Interview
• One who qualifies the written exam is eligible to appear for the Personal Interview Round. The interview round is conducted by collectively by officials from IBPS and participating banks.
• The Call letters for Interview is sent to one who qualifies the exam.
• The total marks allotted to the Interview is 100
• One has to score a minimum of 40 % and above (35% for OBC/ST/SC/PWD) in the interview round to be declared qualified.
• One has to qualify the interview and written exam individually as per the required cut off. The Final Result for one will be prepared on the basis of combined merit in both rounds.
• One who is declared qualified will have to appear for the next round i.e. Document Verification as part of the IBPS SO Selection Procedure.

STEP 4 – Provisional Allotment
• After the Interview round is over, eligible and deserving candidates will be short listed as per the vacancies and provisional allotments will be made accordingly.
• The Provisional Allotment is done on the basis of merit and preferences as filled by one.

STEP 5 – Identity Verification

• One has to compulsorily carry a Valid Photo ID proof at the time of Interview Round.
• The Identity of one is verified at the time of interview and also at the final allotment of organization.
• Final Allotment will be the last step of IBPS SO Selection Procedure.

STEP 6 – Final Allotment:
• The final allotment letter will be sent to one along with the dates of joining.
