Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the notification for the recruitment of Specialist Officer (SO) post at various posts under SO in around 20 public sector banks.

The IBPS SO exam will be conducted at national level to fill around 5000 vacancies.

IBPS SO Eligibility Criteria

Graduation degree in any discipline from recognised University.

Candidates must be between 20 to 30 years of age

Candidates should be a citizen of India/Nepal/Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee settled in India.

Application Fee:

₹ 600/- for General and OBC Candidates; ₹ 100/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.

The Application Fees / Intimation Charges along with Applicable Bank Transaction charges pay through Online Payment Mode using Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.

According to the IBPS calendar, the recruitment for the specialist officer in the public-sector banks of India is scheduled in December.
The exam date for the IBPS specialist officer are as follows:
Preliminary exam date- 30th and 31st December 2017.
Main exam date- 28th January 2018
The notification for the IBPS SO 2017 recruitment is not announced yet and is expected to be out in November month. The IBPS SO exam is being held for the following post:
• IT Officer
• law officer
• agriculture officer
• Rajbhasha Adhikari
• HR/Personnel officer
• Marketing officer
There are different educational required for each post in the specific field for which candidates want to apply. The minimum age limit should be 20 to 30 years to apply for the IBPS SO 2017 exam.
