Built up in 1980, the Institute for Clean Energy Technology (ICET), once in the past known as the Diagnostic Instrumentation and Analysis Laboratory (DIAL), was made at Mississippi State University and subsidized by the Department of Energy.

Since its origin, ICET has made a custom of perfection in symptomatic research by enhancing adequacy and aggressiveness while limiting ecological effect.
