The Faculty of Law (FoL) (formerly known as ICFAI Law School) is one of the constituent bodies of ICFAI University, Dehradun.

The Faculty of Law at present offers

-3 year LL.B.program,

- 5 year BBA-LL.B (Hons.) integrated degree program

-and 2 year LL.M. program


The FoL facilitates its students to explore their intellectual potential and encourages their professional development through a fine blend of career oriented courses and compulsory internships with Eminent lawyers, Law Firms, MNCs, PSUs, NGOs, International Organizations, etc.

Objectives

-To provide an chance for students to study law as a core area and also pursue an additional area of interest by integrating law with management and specialize.

-To provide cutting edge inputs of specialized knowledge and skills blended with emerging technology to meet the challenges of tomorrow such as environmental protection, intellectual property rights, e-business, cyber law, etc.

-To impart interdisciplinary information in the light of challenging contemporary business and legal environment.


Academic Recognition

-The ICFAI University, Dehradun is acknowledged by the University Grants Commission under section 2 (f) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.


-The IUD is a member of the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.

-The Faculty of Law has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bangor University, UK for the student and faculty exchange programme.


-The Faculty of Law is properly recognized by the Bar Council of India.

-The IUD is a member of Association of Commonwealth Universities, London.
