IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is the language of communication.

Sections of the IELTS Examination :

IELTS Listening test lasts for about 30 minutes.

IELTS Reading test lasts for 60 minutes.

IELTS Writing test also lasts for 60 minutes

IELTS Speaking test consists of a one-to-one interview with a specially trained examiner. The interview is recorded and has three separate parts:


Scores :

Test takers receive a score for each test component – Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. The individual scores are then averaged and rounded to produce an Overall Band Score

An Overall Band Score (from 1-9)
A band score (from 1-9) for each section of the test (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking)
