the VTU University offered the Gold medals are of two types: Merit and Endowment.
The merit Gold medal is given to the student who has the highest aggregate in his major/branch.

The endowment Gold medals are sponsored by industries and donors and may have special/different/varying criteria,


How to Obtain A Gold Medal of VTU University


Here I am Sharing you the Experience of the Student that obtain the Gold Medal from the VTU University

I used to study throughout the semester, instead of just studying at the end of the term or just during exams.

I used to follow two or three additional books apart from the textbook and made my own notes, instead of relying on the notes that was distributed by college Professors.

I was very serious with the internal assessments. I never a lost single mark in any of my internal assessment tests.

I used to maintain a very neat and tidy lab record. I used to complete the records on the same day of the experiments and revise them thoroughly. This helped me remember the concepts from every experiment/lab session throughout the semester.

I never hesitated in asking questions to Professors, whenever I had any doubt or difficulty in understanding any concept.

I had a very clear objective/goal and road map. This is something which kept me focused throughout my undergraduate studies.
