The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the world’s most popular English language proficiency test for higher education and global migration.

IELTS is available in two test formats – Academic or General Training – and provides a valid and accurate assessment of the four language skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking.


The IELTS fee in British Council in 2016 is HUF 54,000. Starting from January 2017, the test fee will be HUF 56,000. The Speaking test in Szeged takes place on the afternoon of the written exam day.
