Can you provide the syllabus of the IES examination conducted by the UPSC?

The Union Public Services Commission has conducted the examination for Indian Engineering Services. The Examination held in two papers.

The Compulsory subjects of the Examination are:

General English / General Studies
Optional Engineering Categories (Subjects)
Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

The Electrical Engineering Paper consists following subjects.

EM Theory
Electrical Materials
Electrical Circuits
Measurements and Instrumentation
CONTROL SYSTEMS
