IFFCO was awarded the First Prize in 'The Great Mind Challenge award for Business’ organised by IBM for innovative solutions.

The Award was presented in an exclusive 'Leadership Meet' at IBM Software Universe '09 on November 4, 2009.

The awards were presented in various categories and each category had initial qualified nominations of more than 50.The nominations included major National companies as well as MNCs.

IFFCO has applied for two and, in both, had the distinction of being short listed in the top 3 nominations.

IFFCO was short listed under 'Innovative Collaboration Solutions' in which collaborative applications like workflow, website/iffconet and appraisal system were showcased and 'Innovative Solution Using Lotus Software' which addressed 'IFFCO's ICT Initiatives for Farmers and Cooperatives' covering agri-portal and kiosks.
