The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) was built up by an Act of Parliament in 1985, has developed as a world pioneer in the field of open and separation learning in a limited capacity to focus 27 years. The University, which is named after previous Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, has made some amazing progress since.

Like the famous Prometheus, the acronym IGNOU has blended the creative ability of millions and given them want to make an interpretation they had always wanted into reality. Everybody can think about now; there is no restriction to age, capability, cash and separation

As of 21st August 2017 there has been no Study centre of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) which is operational in United States of America.
