Eligibility
Have completed their 10+2 or intermediate exam from UP board or its equivalent from a recognised board or university with a minimum aggregate of 45% with physics and mathematics as subjects studied by them.

Candidates belonging to the SC/ST quota need to secure an aggregate of 40% in their 10+2.

Exam pattern
The exam pattern of UPSEE 2018 will aid the candidates to know how many questions will be asked from each paper, the marking scheme, the type of questions that will be asked and the medium of the exam.

The UPSEE 2018 question paper will comprise of multiple choice questions.

The question paper will be available in English and Hindi.

Each correct answer will be awarded four marks.

There is no negative marking. The total questions asked will be 150 (50 questions from each subject). The duration of the UPSEE exam is 3 hours.
