Joint Entrance Examination for lateral entry (JELET) is conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board for admission to 2nd year of Bachelor degree in Engineering/Technology and Pharmacy

Eligibility ---

Nationality
- You must be a citizen of India.

Age
- There is no age restriction for diploma holders of Engineering and Technology/ Pharmacy but there is age limitation for B.Sc candidates. Upper age limit for B.Sc Candidate is 27 years

Education:

Diploma Holders:
You should have secured minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category) from an AICTE approved institution

B.Sc holders:
Must have Passed B.Sc with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category) from a recognized University and Pass XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.

Pharmacy Holders:
You must have passed Diploma in Pharmacy from an AICTE approved Institution with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category).

Pattern of Examination:
- JELET examination is two hours duration
- It is Objective test with total 100 questions.
-Each question carrying 1(one) marks.
-For each incorrect, 1/3 mark will be deducted.
