The Indian institute of Foreign Trade conducts the IIFT as an entrance exam for the purpose of shortlisting candidates for admission into its two year full time MBA course in International Business (MBA-IB), at two of the IIFT campuses- IIFT Delhi and Kolkata

Eligibility

Recognised Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 year’s duration in any discipline.
Candidates appearing in the final year examination of Graduation can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by 7th October 2017.
No age limit

Exam Pattern and Syllabus for IIFT 2017

The question paper will be of objective type comprising of approximately 125 multiple choice type questions.

The question paper will be divided into 4 sections as mentioned below:

Quantitative Ability
Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
Reading Comprehension and General Awareness
Verbal Ability

There is a separate marking scheme for every section and may be subject to change every year by the examination authority.

There is a provision of negative marking and candidates must remember that for every wrong answer 1/3rd marks allotted to the question will be deducted.

IIFT’s written test is of two hours duration.
