The Pune University is provides a summer training for students after their 1st year. After completion of first year, the students are confident for summer training for a period of two months (during the vacation) at various universities/National research institutes of repute.

This training is offered with the hope that they can interact with recognized scientists in the fields of their interest.

The Department arranges lectures by scientists from India and abroad in many areas of Biotechnology.

Eligibility:
Candidates should be pursuing their M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences and in Penultimate year of their degree.

First Class in all qualifying examinations starting from 10th standard
