IIIT Bangalore NRI Admission
My friend is NRI and wants to do M.Tech from the IIIT Bangalore so can you please give me details about the NRI Admission process? The International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore is a Deemed University It was established in 1999 The Institute is a registered not-for-profit society funded jointly by the Government of Karnataka and the IT industry. It offer M.Tech in the following specializations M.Tech. (Aerospace Engineering) M.Tech. (Civil Engineering) M.Tech. (Electrical Engineering) M.Tech. (Electronics and Communication Engineering) M.Tech. (Instrumentation and Control Engineering) M.Tech. (Mechanical Engineering) M.Tech. (Mining Engineering) M.Tech. (Software Engineering) M.Tech. (VLSI Technology) M.Tech. (Embedded Systems) Admission Process of NRI candidates Foreign nationals (FNs) and non-resident Indians (NRIs) who have 4-year undergraduate engineering are eligible to apply for the M.Tech programme. Such applicants can apply with valid GRE and TOEFL scores. Only those students whose undergraduate education was in an Anglophone country (i.e. Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, UK, and the US) are exempt from TOEFL. Short listed FNs and NRIs applicants have to go through an online interview. Eligibility Candidate must have scored at least 65% in four-year bachelor's degree in engineering (i.e. B.E., B.Tech., or equivalent).
