IISc Bangalore M.Tech admission

Applications for the M.TEch/ M.E courses at IISc Bangalore are available from February 2, 2015.

Candidates can apply online to the M.Tech programmes if they qualify in GATE

Eligibility-

Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/Technology or its equivalent

Bachelor’s degree holders in Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Electronics followed by qualifications obtained through an examination conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE

Master’s degree holders in Science disciplines including Physics with Electronics/ Instrumentation/Geology/ Computer Application/ Physical Sciences/ Mathematical Sciences as applicable to individual department offering M Tech programmes

Selection Procedure:

For M.Tech/M.E Admission:

Selection will be done on the basis of GATE score, a written test and a personal interview.

Except for Instrumentation, Transportation and Infrastructure Engineering where admissions will be on the basis of GATE scores

IIT Bombay M.Tech admission

Candidates have to apply online to the M.Tech programmes. They must have qualified in GATE to be eligible to apply to the IIT Bombay M.Tech Admissions 2015.

Candidate who have CGPA/CPI of 8.00 and above are exempted from the requirement of GATE qualification
