The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology IIST will invite application form for admission in various M.Tech programs in the Institute.

Each M.Tech programme at IIST offers 6 seats.

The application form of IIST M.Tech admission was available in April 2018.

The interview/ written test will held in June 2018.

Based on the performance of candidates of candidates in the interview/ written test, course-specific and category-wise merit lists will be published for admission.

IIST M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

BE/B.Tech/M.Sc/M.S. or equivalent degree with minimum aggregate marks of 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 out of 10

A valid GATE score in the respective disciplines for which admission is sought

Final year candidates can also apply

The upper age limit is 28 years as on May 8, 2017. Candidates belonging to SC / ST / Persons with disability (PWD) category will be eligible for age relaxation as per Government of India Orders.

Only Indian citizens can apply to IIST M.Tech 2017

IIST M.Tech Selection Procedure

Short listing of candidates for allotment of seats was based on valid GATE scores.

Candidates who are shortlisted had to take a written test/ Interview.

Based on the performance of the candidates in the written test/ interview a merit list has been drawn

Seats are based on the merit list.

Application Fee:

The application fee of IIST M.Tech 2017 is Rs. 600 per department.

For women candidates and those belonging to SC, ST, and PWD categories, the IIST M.Tech application fee was Rs. 300.
