The Class of 1962 is a special batch for IIT Bombay-as this is the first batch that graduated out of this institute.

2012 thus is a special year as not only does the Institute celebrate its 50th Convocation but it is also the year to invite all back to celebrate the First Golden Jubilee Reunion at IITB with the celebration of the 50th reunion of class.
